To create the data for your CRM, and the map, our software needs to access your data. The easiest, least intrusive way to do this is to make the software part of your team, within Airbnb.
You only provide access to the information we need. The software only uses the data to build your database, and the map. You can remove access at any time.
Building the map does take some time, usually we can have things turned around in 48 hours. We do limit the number of new customers per day, so that we are sure we can complete the building of the database within 48 hours.
Within your memberpage, we'll provide you with a link that goes to your map.
Clinking on the link, it will look like this.
You may want to put a title across the top. When you click on the link below, the title will say 'Stays at 469 Franklin Street in Buffalo'. To add a title to your map, the URL will look like http://www.myguestmap.com/m.php?k=59813821&title=Stays at 469 Franklin Street in Buffalo.
Clinking here, you'll see the map with the title.
With no additional work on your part, you'll just add "&review=parking"
Clinking here, you'll see the map with the title, and reviews that include the word 'parking'.
We have a 'score' field on each review. When we process the reviews, we give each one a default score of 5. Think of the score as ranging from 1 to 10, 10 being the best. If you just want a few reviews to show, for example in the parking example above, you would find the most glowing reviews, and give them a higher score, let's say an '8'. When we display the map, we will add the 'score' field, and a value of 8.
That will look like this: "http://www.myguestmap.com/m.php?k=59813821&title=Stays at 469 Franklin Street in Buffalo with reviews including parking&review=parking&score=8"
To this point, your basically using the 'map' as it is, right 'out of the box'. Many users will find this useful enough. But, we do offer more ways to increase occupancy.
It's an often repeated business axiom that it's cheaper to keep your current customers, than find new ones. If a guest has had a good stay, and will be back in town on a regular basis, why not capitalize on that?
As hosts in the City of Buffalo, we know that Toronto Maple Leaf fans will come to the city to support their team. Having multiple units, over just a few years, we will have had at least 20 groups that came in just to watch the Leafs.
Within the member area of MyGuestMap, you can view and edit all of your stays. Find the stays that had Maple Leaf fans, and add to the tag field, the word 'Leafs'. Now, when the schedule comes out, you can generate an email list for 'Leafs', and send them information about booking for those days.
