MyGuestMap

Access to Your Guest Data = Increased Revenue!

Moving from host to business owner

Within 48 hours of ordering, you'll have access to your data. During processing, we calculate the coordinates of a guests home town. Later, we can use this data to build maps that present data in a unique way that will engage future guests, making them more likely to book. The initial screen will look like this:

You have complete access to the data, add, edit, delete what you don't like

Keep in mind, our goal is to increase sales. One way we'll do that is to display data that will help convert inquiries to bookings.

To taylor the data, we've added some fields.

The Score Field

If we display all of the guest visits, for some hosts, the map will be very full. For example, this map has over 2000 stays. Presenting the data this way may be appropriate if we just want to show where all guests have come from, but it may not be helpful for a guest that has a specific question.

The score field is a numberic field that allows us to score a stay, making it more or less likely to appear. Let's say we want to create a map that just has 20 of our very best reviews. The score field wants a setting between 1 and 10. 1 is low, 10 is high. For the 20 best reviews, we set our score to 10.

Displaying a Map that only has scores equal to, or above a specific score.

The following link would create your map, with stays that have a score equal to 10:

http://myguestmap.com/m.php?k=59813821&score=10 The value for 'k' will be different for each host.

The Tag Field

When your data is first created, the tag field will be empty. Following a guests stay, you may choose to populate this field with something that identifies them, or some interest that you'd like to be able to use later when creating an email list.

For example, we have a local band that has a significant world wide following. It helps that the band suggests to fans that they stay in local Airbnb's when attending their shows. The band has two local shows per year. We'd like to segment guests with something in the tag field that indicates they are fans of the band. The band goes by the acronym ETID. In the flag field, we'll just enter ETID.

When the band announces a concert, we can create an email list based on the tag.

The Review Field

Just like it sounds, the review field contains the guest review (if they left one).

As a host, I know I will receive inquiries that are specific to my location. For example, we are near Shea's Buffalo, an historic theatre. Guests, or performers, will ask how close we are.

It is possible to reply with, "We are a ten minute walk from Shea's." Or, I can send them this link.

Here's an example of what we would send this guest.

Let's look at this link:

http://www.myguestmap.com/m.php?k=59813821&review=Shea&title=Guests of 469 Franklin mentioning Sheas in their review

m.php is the page that generates all of the maps.

k=59813821 is the host, you will have your own number that you will enter here.

review=Shea has the server search all reviews that contain 'Shea'.

title=Guests of 469 Franklin mentioning Sheas in their review

We can build a map that will have 'markers' displayed for visits that have only the specific text in the review. It would be possible to include only visits that had a score over a given level, and the term in the review.
